Ghanaian womenswear label, Sika Designs has released the lookbook for its new collection, “Floral Fauna.”
Seen on beautiful model Rachael J Williams, the collection uses raw silk and wax print to perfectly produce asymmetrical dresses and jumpsuits in bold summer colours.
According to the designer, Phyllis Taylor:
“Every fabric has been carefully selected in local Ghanaian markets and hand-made using natural methods, creating exclusive limited prints.”
Pieces in the collection were also designed to define an area in West Africa’s vast textile landscape, through use of traditional prints like tie dye, batik and wax print.
