Attention makeup lovers all over the world, Balmain and L’Oreal are teaming up together to bring us a capsule collection of lipsticks.
Few years ago, French luxury designer brand Balmain teamed up with H&M and they gave us a supper fab collection. It’s 2017 and Balmain is teaming up with top cosmetic brand L’Oreal to create an amazing collection of lipsticks.
Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and L’Oréal Paris have teamed up to create a capsule collection of lipstick, which marks the first beauty project for Balmain’s creative director.
There will be three new color themes involving 12 new shades, which are to be sold in select points of sale where L’Oréal Paris already exists, the new collection will also have a lipstick “jewel edition” that showcases the three star shades , which is to be carried exclusively in Balmain stores, and some selected other retailers.
Although both brands are being really tight lipped about the collection, we are still more than excited to see what the new collection has to offer.
Oliver Rousteing, who was a former fashion designer for Roberto Cavalli, replaced Christophe Decarnin as creative director of Balmain in 2011 at an impressive age of 25. Credited for adding an Asian influence to the clothing line, and known of course for his million dollar celebrity selfies. Oliver Rousteing has been able to push the brand to great heights on and off social media.
The lipstick line is scheduled to be launched in September , prior to the next Paris fashion week, which L’oreal is one of the official sponsors.
