Calling all to “Save the Date”, top visual artist and designer Loza Maléombho is holding an exhibition at the Louisimone Guirandou Gallery in the Ivory Coast.
The Brazilian-born, US and Abidjan-raised talent will display the artistic self portraits that have captured her growing social media following; the series titled #AlienEdits, which see her posed in all sorts of exotic headgear, from birds to a balanced set of books.

Said shots are aimed to challenge stereotypes, raise awareness to social issues and inspire self-validation – all while celebrating African culture. And this first exhibition of the #AlienEdits series, which has amassed a 45k following on the platform Loza regularly shares her pics on, will surely draw quite a crowd.
