Not yet ready to end her reign in style, Lupita Nyong’o appears on the cover of Marie Claire‘s May’14 issue, as one of five ‘fresh faces’ chosen to cover the new edition. And, leading to the release of the issue, the magazine has revealed two videos – the first is a behind the scenes encounter with all of the cover stars; the second is a short and intimate film with each personality.
Seen on set of the shoot, wearing several bright pink midi dresses and appearing to dance through the cold, Lupita reveals;
“I wish I had time to play an instrument, I feel like I was a musician in a past life, and I’d really like to get back to that life but I don’t have the patience or the time…”
In the short film made ahead of the new issue’s launch, titled “XOMC,” the actress is seen hanging out at home in a silk pin stripe shirt with contrasting cuffs and collar, playing solitaire, drinking tea and writing a ‘to-do’ list.
