The stunner that is Egyptian-Moroccan model, Imaan Hamman has revealed her stylish side to Vogue, with a run down of her Summer season essentials – great news for us at SPICE, as we kickstart a month celebrating all things Summer.
First on the list is this paint-print sweat by MTWTFSS Weekday, which Ms Hammam picked out, saying;
“I really love sweatshirts. Summer in Amsterdam can be very unpredictable with the weather changing from warm and pleasant, to suddenly raining and cold. So that’s why I always want to be prepared with a selection of sweatshirts.”
Next is this cool leather biker from Zara ($239), MAC’s “Faithfully Yours” lip creme ($18) and these super trendy shredded jeans by Topshop ($84), of which Imaan says;
“This summer, I’m rocking a lot of boyfriend pants! I love the look of pants that are baggy, boyish and comfortable.”
The long-limbed beauty also picked Hood by Air’s “Rated H” tee ($180) and Kenzo’s eye embellished jumper ($315)..
…And Valentino’s leather handbag ($1,718) and MAC’s “Perfectly Poised” mineralise skin finish ($33) also made the list alongside a pair of Nike x Ricardo Tisci’s Air Force 1 boots ($320) and Moschino’s A/W’14 quilted clutch ($1,26). The model explained;
“As a little kid, McDonald’s was my favorite place of mine and this bag reminds me of those colors but it’s different from that and it’s very chic. It’s a great, fun design and a little unexpected compared to your typical bag.”
With Imaan working with top industry names for her day job – starring on the pages of Vogue and opening catwalk shows for brands like Givenchy, no less – we at SPICE are certain she knows her stuff, and will definitely be following her fashion footsteps this Summer. Well, at least when it comes to her wardrobe, anyway.
