Everyone is in a hurry to be successful, it leaves me wondering what exactly is fueling our rush, could it be the passion you have towards your career path, or could it be that we often times think that we are running out of time?
These questions can only be answered by ourselves, in a world where 1o million followers on Social media means success, a lot of persons have actually derailed from the true purpose of success. To find a purpose is one thing, to live in that purpose is another, to fulfill it, is an entirely different ball game.
So, I ask, why the rush? why do you think that baby steps do not mean progress? it took Bill Gates 6 years to land a contract with IBM to provide their IBM PC base operating system, this was after he founded Microsoft, although got he got this contract 6 years after his company was founded, it took another 5 years before Microsoft could actually go public. People fail to realize that with years comes experience, it takes determination, consistency, and faith to finally become an ‘overnight success’.
Baby steps are the greatest, they help nurture you into your ideal personality, while taking a baby step, you can make a mistake and retrace your steps, you fall so low and rise up higher, you know why? because you are growing. Next time you beat yourself up about why your progress is so slow, remember you were not born at the age of 2o or 3o neither 40, you were born a toddler and you grew into your present self. Enjoy and be great full for the little things in life, fore one day, it would surely translate into greater things.
