A wise man once said, “fear is false evidence appearing real”, how true is that. Most times we are so afraid of the outcome that we never give a try, we just let fear make the decision on our behalf. But we also forget that the only to know how not to do it, is by failing.
Thomas Edison made 1000 attempts at inventing the light bulb and when he was asked by a reporter he he felt like failing 1000 times, he simply replied, “I didn’t fail 100 times, the light bulb was an invention with 1000 steps.” Edison made it clear that he knew several thousand things that wont work.
Sometimes life doesn’t just give you what you want, you need to take it by force, and that can only be done by trying, the more you sulk and let fear take a hold of you, the longer it takes to get to your goal. we are not saying it would be easy, but doing nothing is worse than failure, let it be recorded that at least you tried, and your setback can be a bench mark to others.
So wake up, shake off the fear and start writing that book you always wanted to, register for that school you want to attend, you never know if the tuition is free. Just START, and leave the rest to your creator.
