Starting the week with some shopping inspiration, we bring you some footwear to seriously lust for – a cool and durable pair of shoes by designers Darlene and Lizzy Okpo of New York-based label, William Okpo, in collaboration with traditional footwear brand Brother Vellies.
The chukkas are made by hand in South Africa and are crafted to have the same shape and hold boasted by the traditional Vellies – just this time they come with the added kick of having an open toe (something to be grateful for as the season’s weather climbs).
The collaborative effort – yours for $235 and shipped from NY within 3 days – are crafted from Namibian Kudu leather and are a chance to snap up something stylish originating from the 1600s, made modern via the genius of both these brilliant brands.
