The news of cosmetic favorite, NARS, branching out to serve their fan base in china has stuck a painful blow to the hearts of a lot people. Well not because they don’t want them going to china, but because china is one of the countries which insist on product testing on animals for all cosmetics companies.
The French cosmetic and skincare company was founded in 1994 by renowned makeup artist and photographer Francois NARS.
Although the brand has previously been a strong advocate against animal cruelty and sourced for alternate methods of cosmetic testing, this news has left some furious customers to believe that the brand has traded their values for momentary gains.
However, the brand has debunked accusations of their brand values being compromised, stating that they are still against animal cruelty and that the products bought and manufactured outside of china still remains cruelty free.
