Launching an exciting new photography exhibition on contemporary African photography, digital fashion, music and art platform Nataal teams up with New York’s Red Hooks Lab, to spotlight six talents from the continent and diaspora.

Featuring the work of Nigerian photographer Lakin Ogunbanwo, South Sudanese photographer Atong Atem, French-Senegalese Delphine Diaw Diallo, Guinean-Swiss photographer Namsa Leuba, South African fashion photographer Kristin-Lee Moolman, and street style photographer Egyptian Owise Abuzaid, the exhibit (according to a press release);
“…Explores multiple themes that challenge accepted notions of belonging and identity; the everyday and the fantastical; the past and the future; the public and the private.”
The exhibition, which includes documentary, fashion and portrait photography, launched on May 7th and will run until May 15th at Brooklyn’s Red Hooks Lab, and hopes to;
“…Tell universal and inspiring stories that traverse 21st century Africa and beyond.”
