Fast rising Nigerian-born GQ model Harry Uzoka has died at the young age of 25 after being stabbed in a “robbery gone wrong”, at his home on Old Oak Road, East Acton, United Kingdom.
The young model was signed to top model agency Premier Modelling management, who is notable for managing some of the biggest models in the world, which also helped launch the career of big shoots like Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
He died on the 11th of January, at about 4:00pm as a result of a stab wound to the chest. According to Evening Standard News, he allegedly “staggered through a nearby estate following a suspected “robbery gone wrong” involving a number of people, police said. Paramedics battled to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Detective Inspector Beverley Kofi said: “This is another tragic murder with a young male victim who has met a violent death.
“We believe that the incident started at Ollgar House, in Ollgar Close and the victim was assaulted and stabbed before staggering and collapsing in Old Oak Road.
“We believe there were a number of people involved, but we are still working to establish the circumstances and a possible motive.
“We have made two arrests and continue to pursue a number of lines of inquiry. We need the public’s help to piece together what happened — who the victim was seen with, the incident itself and the immediate aftermath.”
Some of Harry’s most recent works included modelling for Hunger, Everlane and clothing store Bershka. He also appeared on different Billboards in the Uk and USA.
