Inspired by voodoo queens and religious icons, Joseph Alexander’s striking shots of model Eromomen has her appear beautiful, haunting and at times statuesque, in a series titled “Orare.”
Speaking of his work, Mr Alexander said:
“I wanted the series as a whole, and as individual art-pieces, to represent simplicity with use of contrast, composition and either symmetry or asymmetry.”
