Announcing itself as Nigeria’s first sustainable fashion brand, Dumebi Clothing by Dumebi Obuh is has launched its debut menswear collection, titled “Beyond Style.”
Concentrating on sustainability, the brand has focused its creative energy on modern, fashion-forward, intelligent and confident men, piecing together a lineup that includes prints, solid colors and classic staples like white shirts, claiming to “transform any man’s wardrobe into sartorial paradise.”
The brand explains;
“The ideal Dumebi Clothing man, who is eco-conscious, recycles and appreciates quality, inspired this collection. Sustainability and ethical values lie at [our] heart, and is communicated through the products which only use fair trade and sustainable materials.
The brand is putting in place several initiatives to encourage sustainable fashion in Nigeria, which will be revealed in the nearest future.”

“ I am a firm believer in styling with conscience – I care deeply about the social and environmental situation of Nigeria. We are all aware of our deteriorating eco-system and it is important to have this conversation. I am choosing fashion as a medium to address this. Hence, the title of the collection “Beyond Style,” because it really is.”
