Pat McGrath is the legendary makeup artist behind most of the runway looks that have made us go oohhh for more than a decade, and right along with The New Yorker, which named her ‘The Most Powerful Black Woman in Fashion’, Queen Elizabeth II has also recognised her services to the fashion and beauty industry, giving Ms McGrath an MBE at the end of 2013 – making her a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Thrilled with the news of her achievement, we at SPICE are super-pleased to see that backstage at most major fashion shows isn’t the only place in the world that Pat reigns supreme, and we wish her a very hearty congratulations.
