Talented musician and style maverick, Pharrell Williams is spied on the cover of Notion Magazine‘s 68th issue, without his trademark giant hat.
Shot by photographer Yu Tsai and styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the Girl singer rocks a wicker hat and reflective shades, looking stern on the cover of the mag’s new issue, wherein a fashion spread and interview will also feature.
In a behind the scenes video for the shoot – the shots of which are yet to be revealed – Mr Williams can be seen hiking it about a picturesque landscape and wearing a series of camo-coloured clothes. Also in the vid, art director Liam Gleeson explains;
“One of my philosophies is that I like to shoot artists how they’ve never been shot, so this for me is like a perfect concept to do with him.
Pharell’s been quite heavily involved in this concept in particular – we kind of go on this hike together.”
While we at SPICE wait to share the full editorial, Pharrell fans can see him in action and on Notion’s cover, below;
