POPCAP ’14 Launches its 3rd Competition for Africa-Based or Africa-Focused Photographers

The third annual African photography competition, POPCAP is now open for entry, calling for all contemporary photographers with a special interest in Africa and the diaspora to submit their portfolio. And, with five winners set to be selected by a panel of 18 esteemed international judges and a prize of being featured in several worldwide exhibitions, we’d suggest talented hopefuls make their entry.

Past winners include Adolphus Opara, Dillon Marsh and Namsa Leuba, with this year’s up for the chance of being showcased at five POPCAP exhibitions to be held in Germany, Switzerland and Cape Town, as well as the LagosPhoto Festival and Ethiopia’s Addis FotoFest.

Entry closes on 1st July’14. See the rules of entry here and find out more about the competition, here
