Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler have released a mini documentary, revealing the two designers’ first meeting, their working relationship and the processes they go through as collaborators.
The stylish short film, Proenza Schouler Is was shot by videographer Harrys, in Paris store Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, where the brand have been stationed for the past month.
The designers state in the film:
“Our work isn’t about fashion, it’s about our lives… We make fashion as a result of our experiences.”
There’s also some clarification on the pronunciation of their label name (“Pro-En-Za Skool-Er” to sound it out Sesame Street style).
