Red Carpet Roundup 1st-7th April’14: Nicole Richie, Estelle, Naomi Campbell & More!

April is off to a stylish start, with major events – including galas, award shows, premieres and launches – bringing celebs out to do their red carpet rounds in top-notch looks we just love.

Below is our line up of the 10 best looks of last week, where new season trends like head-to-toe white, shades of blue and embellishment got noticed;

Nicole Richie attended Lucky FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference held at the SLS Hotel on Friday (April 4) in Beverly Hills, California, to share her experience of being the creative director of House of Harlow 1960. Keeping her look typically cool she wore a plain grey tee and J Brand L8001 leather super skinny black jeans with her Givenchy Resort 2014 floral print blazer taking centre-stage, even more so than her newly dyed lilac hair. Riccardo Tisci gave pretty florals a graphic edge with this photo-print blazer. Anchored with a sullen black base, the romantic pinks and vivid greens offering a bold contrast, this blazer creates the right balance of femininity and fierce cool. Sky-high pumps, a House of Harlow necklace and Jennifer Meyer earrings completed her look.
Starting off our list with a very ‘spring’ look, Nicole Richie and her new lilac ‘do attended the Lucky Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in California, keeping to her typically cool style with a plain grey tee, J Brand leather jeans and a Givenchy Resort’14 floral blazer. This low key, high-impact look took centre-stage at the event and every item is now on our fashion wish-list…

The British singer is my favourite here, donning a DVF eclectic-print maxi halter dress styled with a dark-green clutch and statement jewels which perhaps she overloaded on. stelle was absolutely stunning in henna tattoos and a printed maxi dress from DVF’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection. This is officially my all-time favorite look on her!
British singer, Estelle might not be a fashion icon but she’s certainly caught our attention in this DVF eclectic-print maxi dress, which she wore to the brand’s award event last week. Styled with a dark green clutch and statement jewels, this has to be one of our favourite ever looks from the star.

asha P brought the heat in a red long sleeve dress with a slit. Going for subtle glam, she accessorized with silver drop earrings, a silver cocktail ring with black stones, a cream clutch and a pair of spiked Christian Louboutin heels.
Keeping to musicians, Nigerian rapper, Sasha P stepped out for the NdaniTV launch showing off her newly toned body in a red, long sleeve dress with a short slit. And who could ignore those spiked Christian Louboutin heels? #Hot.

Emma Watson STUNNED at the London premiere of Noah in a flowing white gown from Ralph Lauren. The actress slicked back her locks and jazzed up the look with a few metallic accents. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?
Another fresh and simple look from Emma Watson stunned at the London premiere of Noah, for which the actress chose a flowing white gown from Ralph Lauren. We love that Ms Watson slicked back her locks and jazzed up the look with a few metallic accents. As usual, we think she looks gorgeous!

The Broadway opening night for Lorraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin In The Sun” debuted Thursday at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City
British-Nigerian actress, Sophie Okonedo kept things very simple and slightly seventies to attend the Broadway opening night for Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin In The Sun, in New York City. We are always pleased to see Ms Okonedo on the carpet because she brings a style that’s her own and never over-does it.

Alicia was also spotted at Pharrell’s fête afterward, but first, she went bold in a blue jumpsuit from DVF at the awards show. I loved the added pop of color with her coral lipstick.
Alicia Keys went bold in blue for the DVF Awards, wearing a DVF jumpsuit which she paired with bright coral lips. It’s rare we don’t like what the singer wears and as usual, we were impressed.

It’s all about fabulous hair for our Spice Style Star this week, as the stylish Teyonah Parris groomed her signature fro into a directional faux-hawk to compliment her look for the Mad Men 7 premiere at Arclight Cinemas, in Hollywood. Rocking a turquoise pencil dress with embellished collar from Philip Armstrong’s Spring’14 collection, the actress looked trim and classy, keeping her accessories minimal and letting her beaded collar (and hair) do the talking.
Our Style Star from last week, Teyonah Parris brought fabulous hair vibes to the red carpet of the Mad Men 7 premiere in Hollywood. Crafting a directional faux-hawk to wear with her turquoise pencil dress from Philip Armstrong’s Spring’14 collection, we think the star looked trim and utterly classy.

Patricia
Patricia DeJesus looked just royal at the amfAR Inspiration Gala, where she wore a deep-cut blue dress and wavy hair. Simple jewels and secret shoes helped her steal the limelight.

Supermodel, Naomi Campbell wore a white Givenhcy racer-front gown, enriched with embroidered details and a flowing fringed skirt for the amfAR Gala. It seems Naomi has a thing for wearing fringe at gala events, as she has worn similar pieces for the 2011 Met Gala and the 2011 amfAR Gala - not that we're complaining, because it looks ridiculously hot.

Carrie Underwood, in Oscar de la Renta, Jimmy Choo shoes and David Yurman jewels, attends the 49th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 6, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Our last look on the list comes from country singer, Carrie Underwood who also stood out in fringe as she attended the Academy of Country Music Awards in an Oscar de la Renta gown, Jimmy Choo shoes and David Yurman jewels. A glowing beauty with a wardrobe we are now out to steal from. #Sigh

And there you have it – till next week, anyway, when we’ll have a whole new list of looks we’ve loved…
