This week’s roundup of the best red carpet looks includes stylish ensembles in two fashion camps; the prints and the head-to-toe whites – all winning combinations for this season.
See below those that have been spied wearing Spring’s biggest trends and landed a spot on our best dressed list, then let us know whose look surprised you the most via @SPICETVAFRICA. Enjoy;
First up is Solange Knowles who sets her own trends, went against the grain (as usual) and proves she just knows how to rock bright colour. The star amazed us with her look at the Q&Q launch last week, wearing yellow Christopher Kane separates paired with a sparkly Kate Spade lemon wedge purse and a silver pair of Acne Studios’ pumps. We also loved her pop of pink on the lips.
Over at the 2014 Logie Awards, stars were out in their bright white bests, with Jennifer Hawkins looking uber sexy in a Toni Maticevski two-piece featuring an off-the-shoulder crop top and a high-waist maxi skirt. We really appreciate how she kept her hair flirty with beach waves and a gold cuff, too.
And, talking about sexy white and gold combos, Jesinta Campbell was sleek and hotly-styled too, wearing a figure-hugging, white Steven Khalil gown that was curve-clinging and had a plunging neckline, which she topped off with a statement metallic clutch. Only a body like hers could wear that look so well…
To crown the love-for-white week was singer Rita Ora, who stepped out in a crisp white suit and button down by Michael Kors for her ”What Happens Live Last Night?” appearance.
Taking one for the print team, Estelle was drenched in drinks in a House of Holland cocktail print suit and a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels. We just have to have this two-piece in our wardrobes by Friday night. Please?
And Iggy Azalea hid her curves the stylish way at the Z100 Elvis Duran Morning Show, where she wore a black and white patterned zip-front jumpsuit that screams for attention. In this, Iggy, you can have it all week…
The eternally fun-dresser, Paloma Faith shimmered and sparkled in a colorful embellished dress, pairing it with a Mildenhall Small embellished clutch and gem-stoned pumps. Lovely!
And also on the ‘print pleasers’ list, Adepero Oduye was seen at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner, in a refined multi-hued A-line Busayo frock. We applaud her choice of nude shoe here, because too much colour and she’d have slipped off the stylish end of the scale…
Actress Emma Stone, who has been making well-dressed red carpet rounds while touring the world for her new movie, The Amazing Spiderman 2, was seen at herNew York premiere clad in simple yet stunning Prada. Glowing, isn;t she…
And last on our list is the leggy Letoya Luckett, who was simple and chic in a navy dress accented by metallic Gianvito Rossi heels at the From The Rough screening in Hollywood. How we want her toned pins (and shoes, dress and hair). Hell, we’ll have it all.
