While we are still celebrating all things fashion here at SPICE along with the rest of the world as Fashion Week does the global rounds, Nigerian designer, Sally Bawa is announcing her upcoming “Collaborative Spring/Summer’15 Collection” – a project to be revealed at the Genevieve Magazine Pink Ball next month, featuring both Ms Bawa’s and an ‘unannounced collaborator’s’ work.
The collection is promised to feature all of the brand’s covetable characteristics – minimalist chicness with an artsy, indulgent vibe – though without knowing who the collaborator is, there’s no telling exactly what to expect.
The Genevieve Magazine Pink Ball event, penned for October 18th, is a charity event aimed at raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. A huge turnout, including several of Nigeria’s biggest stars, turned out for the initiative’s Walk/Run/Cycle fundraising event recently, and with this unique collaborative project from Sally Bawa, whose previous collections have been just genius, we’re sure a huge fashion following is sure to make its way to the main event in Victoria Island, Lagos next month.
For now, we can look forward to finding out who Sally Bawa’s mystery collaborator is before seeing her new joint venture revealed to the Pink Ball’s audience in October.
