Yes, for Solange’s marriage yesterday to Alan Ferguson, the stylish sister of Beyonce chose a pair of white vintage push bikes as a means to make her way to the alter, with both husband and wife dressed to the nines and leading a party of taxis to the New Orleans Marigny Opera House they wed in.
While the mode of transport may have been low-key, Solange made sure her ensemble was not, stepping out in a cream jumpsuit and floor skimming cape for the bike ride, but having a lavish white gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo, plus heels and her signature fro.
The fashion killer told Vogue of the entire affair;
“Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love. Everything was a labor of love.”
