Solange’s ‘An Ode To’ at New York’s Guggenheim Museum

Have you attended an all white dress code concert before? Only Solange Knowles can pull that off, she brought in her black perfection and finely-calibrated style of music into Guggenheim Museum. Guests were asked to put on all white outfits, the performance which took place on the main floor of the Rotunda, with the audience either sitting on the floor or leaning over the edges of the building’s circular balconies. It was definitely a beauty to behold, they started off with a stentorian instrumental called “Scales” afterwards Solange, her two singers and eight dancers tromped in a line down the orbicular balconies to the performance area and, after a series of spiraling movements, arm extensions, the magic finally began.

Let’s not go on and on with words, the photos from the concert will speak to you the power in S0lange’s Musical Art
