Our Spice MCM of the Week is the talented, hard working Music creative Mnek. Born Uzoechi Osisoma Emenike in Bellingham, London, on the 9th of November 1994 to Nigerian Parents. Mnek is a talented singer, songwriter, and record producer. Since his career officially kick-started in 2012, Mnek has continued to produce hits, proving to world that talent and creativity has nothing to do with age. His dedication and passion has continued to present him opportunities to work with a lot of great minds in the industry.
Mnek’s came to spotlight after he featured on Rudimental’s single “Spoons” with Syron in 2012, but his major breakthrough didn’t happen until the release of his hit song “Never forget you” with Swedish Zara Larsson in 2015. Never forget you has been certified platinum, reaching number 1 on the billboard/electronic songs.
Two years after releasing a successful EP titled small talk, a serene single “At Night (I think about you)” in 2016. After dropping hits for the crème de la crème of the music industry Mnek is finally ready to bless his fans with an album scheduled to drop sometime this year and we really can’t wait.
