Orange is the New Black star, Laverne Cox looked every bit the definition of amazing at the 2014 International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Awards, which took place in the Big Apple on November 24th, landing her top of the pile of perfectly dressed celebs and becoming our Style Star of the Week.
The transgender beauty, who went from being bullied for acting feminine as a kid, to starring in a hit US TV show and becoming a public face for the transgender movement, stole the show in a strapless Johanna Johnson gown and looked utterly radiant as she graced the red carpet.
Laverne paired her dress with a Rafe clutch and Fred Leighton jewels, wearing her caramel locks in glamorous, screen siren-style, loose waves.
We at SPICE also loved the Stuart Weitzman strappy heels that Ms Cox wore with her gown, which came peeking through the elegant, front-split of the dress.
