SPICE #WCW is none other than fashion woman extraordinaire, Tara Fela Durotoye. Tara is one of the pioneers of bridal makeup in Africa, the brain behind Tara cosmetics, a Lawyer, a mother and a wife. What started as a small business is now of the biggest makeup brands in Africa. She founded her cosmetic brand in 1998, and ever since then, House of Tara has become a household name in the makeup industry.
You can’t talk about Tara and not appreciate how much of an impeccable hardworking entrepreneur she is. In a time when the makeup industry wasn’t a thing, she saw a multi-million industry in a hobby she absolutely loved, she went on to make her dreams a reality and in the process she has created a platform and a path for millions of young cosmetic enthusiasts like herself.

Born in Lagos state Nigeria, Tara is a graduate of Law from the University of Lagos, and she is a graduate of the prestigious Stanford SEED Transformation Program. With international recognition from the likes of CNN’s African Voices, New York forum Africa and Africa 24, to name a few.
