On Monday 8th September 2014, our Runway Fiesta, Season 2 kicked off at the Federal Palace Hotel, Ballroom in Victoria Island, where special guests and stylish stars stepped out ready to rock the black carpet.
For those of you that weren’t there but are just dying to see what the fash pack wore, see who turned up to turn heads with their outfits, in our style special on the event, below;
Cool FM OAP, Kaylah Oniwo kept it simple and chic in denim on denim. We are in love with the play on denim shades – the only right way to do the double – and obviously, we want her shoes! #Gorgeous!
Upcoming TV host, Michelle Odisi was fierce in all white, standing on our black carpet with a minimalist look that is certainly on-trend for 2014. We like!
Also in white, stylist Adedeji Abidemi of Bydemie showed us how to do denim on denim via prints, rocking his kente print shirt and shredded jeans with a low-key pair of loafers. Style points galore for this guy…
And confirming thoughts that denim truly ruled our black carpet event, is singer Jaywon, who came prepared to perform alongside Kenneth Ize, sporting a denim on denim look, too. We did not get the memo, but we definitely like.
Continuing the denim vibes, PR Consultant, Mariam Adeyemi rocked a boyfriend look via wide fit jeans and dark lips. We do love a good tomboy look…
And Mariam’s sister, Lola Adeyemi played her date for the night, dressed up similar look but in brownish tones to equally gorgeous effect.
Singer Oritse Femi brought urban cool to the black carpet too, rocking a playful pop of colour via a fun Mickey tee…
…While stylist Moses Ebite was a daring foss in his thigh high shreds. Mad props for pulling the look off so well!
Singer Saeon was simple and chic in blue, rocking a tight-fitting denim dress with a shot of cobalt blue to her feet. We think we are in love.
And model Michelle came showing off her hot legs in a mini, printed flare dress in a chic monochrome palette. What’s not to love about this look?
Designer, Priscilla Best of Suchille Clothings was also showing skin, rocking a pencil skirt and crop top to reveal her toned abs. We at SPICE love the colours and how the longline blazer slightly smartens the look.
Fellow designer, Bubu Ogisi of iamISIGO was chic as always, wearing pieces from her own label. We just wish we had her talent or at least one piece from her wardrobe…
Our very own SPICE presenter, Ariyike Akinbobola was printastic in a MOOFA short set. We can’t decide which is cuter though – the outfit or Ariyike herself…
This MOOFA asymmetrical slit dress on singer Muna brought some oomph to the black carpet, with her jaw-dropping legs and beautiful smile totally stealing our attention.
And SPICE’s Red Carpet Show presenter, Elma Godwin was a golden girl in a piece from Tiannah’s Styling, looking like a true princess of style. #Stunning.
Zamir of LOS always proves he knows how to make a statement and thanks to his stylist, Zed-Eye he did so yet again in a jacket from T.I Nathan. Swish or what?
And last but not the least, this guest turned heads with her look – from the column dress to her showpiece, box braids. Mad style points were scored here the second she decided to pin her hair up. Anonymous, stylish guest, well done.
