Halloween 2014 has come and gone, and while we here at SPICE were busy exploring African fashion weeks – MBFWA and GTBank LFDW – we couldn’t help but keep our eyes on the stars and their outrageous Halloween costumes.
As usual, some served up great style and others were seen slacking, but below’s the best of the good, bad and ugly ensembles from All Hallows’ Eve;
“Oh boy!” – Joseph Yobo’s wife, Adaeze Yobo dressed up as Minnie Mouse to super cute effect…
..And here she is with her son dressed as Spiderman, scoring added adorable points with this shared selfie!
Adaeze’s BFF, rapper Muna was a sexy kitten and looking like that we wouldnt be surprised if everyone she encountered that night could hardly keep their paws off her.
Katy Perry stepped out with comedic vibes, clad as a flaming hot as Cheeto, complete with a Cheeto packet purse. The commitment level here is astounding. Red shoes and orange bodysuit? Well done, Perry.
Mofe Duncan and Bryan Okwara went as butcherers and completely killed it with their pose and attitude here. Good work, guys – though we wouldn’t want to meet you in a darkened alley.
Mega star Beyonce rocked out as Jacket Jackson, while her littleone, Blue Ivy stole the show dressed as Michael Jackson. We love the duo’s cosutumes here – they’re off-the-scales amounts of cute.
Mini stunner, North West’s first ever Halloween outfit was pretty special, with the mega celeb-in-the-making spied continuing her parents’ love of wearing monochrome, dressed as a skunk. Anyone who can pull that costume off and still look this good is clearly destined for great things, never mind the fact that North has Kim and Kanye as parents…
Nigerian rapper, Eldee stepped out for the night dressed up as a Viking…
…And his daughter followed suiting a matching ensemble.
Queen Latifah is that you? The star looked just magnificent as Malificient.
Actress Jessica Alba showed off her rockstar side dressed as Slash from Guns’N’Roses.
We’re sure you didn’t guess that under this costume is singer Adele! She looked perfectly creepy as a banshee for Halloween and for a minute we thought she was Lady Gaga…
Meanwhile the real Lady Gaga came as a ghost, though with costumery being her thing, we must say we’re a little disappointed with the effort here… Sorry, Gaga.
Coco and Ice T put a little twist on their usual style for the night, with Coco rocking camouflage underwear and Ice dressing up dapper.
Stylish star, Zoe Kravitz came out for the night dressed as a nun and we at SPICE love the simple look on her, even if it is a fancy dress costume!
Nicki Minaj put minimal effort into her look for the night, letting her assets do all the talking dressed as Eve… Without the key accessory (the apple) though, who’d have known it was fancy dress?
Rihanna on the other hand went all the way, painting herself and her gang green, and dressing up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Respect has to be given for the fact that even with a shell on her back, Rih still manages to look good.
Nigeria’s Iceprince dressed up as one of his favourite rappers for Halloween – Tupac Shakur. Nice one!
And supermodel Naomi Campbell came dressed up as a showgirl, showing off her legs and body in a leotard with plunging neckline. #Gorgeous.
On similar vibes, Tanzanian model Funmi and a friend dressed as sexy Playboy bunnies for All Hallows Eve. Super cute, ladies and we’re sure you had a great night in those outfits!
Supermodel Heidi Klum stole the show by arriving at her party dressed as a butterfly. Mega costume points for going all the way with the look; bug eyes and everything! #Wow.
And fellow supermodel, Oluchi Orlandi was a sexy cop for the night – out to arrest people for crimes of bad taste, we hope…
Kim Kardashian’s rocked two Halloween costumes last week – the first look being this skeleton suit, which still managed to show off her killer body…
And later, Kim transformed herself and North again, posing as Anna Wintour and a mini Andre Leon Talley… Chic decision.
Kim’s little sister, Kyle Jenner and her beau Tyga went out for Halloween as Chucky and Bride of Chucky.
While Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran did a remake of ’70s flick Grease, being spied dressed as main characters Sandy and Danny.
And finally, saving the best for last, Keri Hilson kept the couples costume culture alive dressed as Nefertiti, with her partner kitted out as Pharaoh Akhenata – and all with a big white horse. What a way to arrive to a Hallween party! We love this.
