Days before her 30th birthday, queen of all things quirky, Afrocentric, colour-blocked and cool, Solange Knowles has hit us again with her wardrobe wiles, giving us a great mis-matched suit look to recreate as we think about all things ‘movement’ this month.
Serving super amounts of inspiration, the singer and curator stepped out (*shashayed) from her house this week, wearing a sparking set of pants by Michael Kors, and showing us exactly how elegantly one should move in a trouser so fine.

Heading to the designer’s launch party in London, Solo brought sartorial sexy back with a plunging black blazer worn with nothing underneath, allowing the disco-ready pants to do most of the partying – the sequins having sunlight bounce off them with every step, and soaking up all of the limelight.
Accessorised with a matching sparkly clutch, this look was well worthy of the star-studded event, and one we want to step out in too.
