This weekend, when they weren’t watching the action at New York Fashion Week, all eyes were on popular TV presenter Toke Makinwa, who hit the premiere of Rita Dominic’s new movie, Suru l’ere in style.
The event saw the turn up of major Nigerian stars like Kate Henshaw, Anne Idibia and more, though the standout for us and social media was Ms Makinwa, who took the ‘strictly traditional’ dress code and ran with it, slaying in a modern twist on a sleeveless Agbada set by Titi Belo.
The brilliant dresser’s stylist paired her’s with a white shirt, diamante silver choker, glittering silver pumps and a box clutch, complimenting the resulting look with a great face beat, courtesy of Anita Adetoye.
Super excited was about her look, Ms Makinwa took to Instagram to share her feelings, saying;
