Rapper Nicki Minaj is being sued for £18m by her former hair stylist, Terrence Davidson, who claims the star is selling his wig designs without his permission.
The “Super Bass” rapper worked with Davidson, whose clientelle includes Jennifer Hudson and Patti LaBelle, between 2010 and 2013, during which time, Davidson claims to have pitched a joint venture in wig creation to Ms Minaj. The stylist claims that before he left Nicki’s team, citing creative differences, they had taken “active steps to isolate (him) and preclude him from the notoriety he deserved for his wig designs.”
While the star’s camp is yet to comment on the legal action being taken against them, we look forward to what the star will respond with – especially if it’s mentioned within her typically hard-hitting lyrics of her next track.
