Bank balance-friendly highstreet brand Target has announced an exciting new collaboration with high end fashion label Altuzarra, set to hit stores next season.
The limited edition line, which will include clothes, shoes and accessories for ‘the modern, sophisticated woman,’ will be available from September’14 via most of Target’s US stores, with a special edit of the range stocked on Netaporter.
Speaking of the collaboration, designer and creative director, Joseph Altuzarra said;
“As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion. It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel.
I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”
Vice president of apparel at Target, Trish Adams added;
“We’re always on the hunt for designers who we believe will inspire our guests. Joseph’s passion for making women feel confident in their fashion choices is unrivaled, and this fall, Target’s guests can experience his signature style at prices that are almost too good to be true.”
Revealing a snippet of what can be expected from the line, Mr Altuzarra released a sketch of an elegant maxi dress, explaining;
“I designed this beautiful, elegant full length dress as part of the Altuzarra for Target collection to add a sense of glamour to the collection. I envision women wearing this dress to special occasions and feeling confident, sexy and sophisticated.”
The rest of the upcoming collection will feature a mix of iconic Altuzarra’s signature silhouettes as well as designs created specifically for Target, amounting to nearly 50 different items with a prince range between $17.99 and $89.99.
