Back in the 80’s through the early 90’s hair claws were the ultimate hair savior. Virtually every woman back then owned at least one hair claw, because they saved women from any or every bad hair situations. Hair claws made life a lot easier for women and still gave this classy, effortless finish .

You know that even the ugliest of trends can instantly become a fashion staple if certain people in the industry give their blessings to the trend. Who else could have brought back the hair claw trend but Alexander Wang guyz. The models owned the runway in the designers 2018 Fall collection, with their hair worn in a sleek wrap up held with a huge Banana Clip aka Claw clip. The black and gray clips were embellished with the designers name across the clasp of the clip, giving it a classier touch.
So it looks like Claw clips are making a huge comeback this year, and not everybody is going to be able to afford one from Alexander Wang, we suggest you shop for the more affordable stylish version in hair stores around you.
Well Wang wasn’t the only designer who took a walk down nostalgia lane during the NYFW, other top designers like Tom Ford featured a more luxurious version of stretchy headbands, and Prabal Gurung models were also spotted wearing stretchy plastic hair comb headbands.
