Beginning tomorrow, the hottest place for female entrepreneurs to frequent – the 2015 Women Of West Africa Entrepreneurship Festival – will take place in Lagos, Nigeria with a host of strong speakers in attendance.
The third of the annual WOWe Festival will hold at the Landmark Centre on the 25th and 26th of June, with Afua Osei (co-founder of She Leads Africa), Olayinka Fashola (creative director at Moofa Designs), Wana Sambo (creative director and designer of her eponymously-named label), Fatoumata Ba (co-CEO at JUMIA Nigeria), Toyin Odulate (founder of Olori Cosmetics) and Chude Jideonwo (director of The Future Project Africa) and many more holding panel discussions and hosting seminars across both days.
The highly-anticipated event – organised by Montgomery West Africa, headed by Tori Abiola and sponsored by SPICE TV, amongst others – aims to provide women with an amazing opportunity to engage with top Nigerian entrepreneurs and celebrate and share stories of success, with its yearly event noting and encouraging women’s contributions within West African economies.
Themed “Vision to Reality” and covering manufacturing, finance and investiment, technology, digital media and more, the festival will also include a variety of exhibitors, displaying their goods and sharing their entrepreneurial journey, with key discussions on “West Africa’s X-factor” (taking place on Day 1) simply not to be missed.
We at SPICE suggest anyone hoping to join in with tomorrow and Friday’s WOWe Festival find out more on the event asap, here.
