Svelte singer and new fashion designer, Mocheddah, launched her Mocheddah Clothing line earlier in the year. The new collection, which she calls ‘Modupe’ and which translates to being thankful in the Yoruba language, sees the singer putting a fun twist to traditional ankara prints and aso-oke.
What should you expect in this look book?
Mocheedah as the face of the brand and keeps it original. She portrays Africa from her hair to complimentary shoes from Gbemisoke. Each look also got a traditional praise poetry name referred to as “oriki” ranging from ASAKE to ABENI to ADUNNI.
