The Okunoren Twins Open Flagship Store in Ikoyi

Sophisticated, star-followed menswear designers The Okunoren Twins have opened a flagship store in Ikoyi, bringing one of Nigeria’s favourite brands and bespoke fashion to a quiet part of Lagos.

Launched on 24th with an event that gathered the likes of D’banj, Mai Atafo and Toke Makinwa, the new store is decked out to mirror the brand’s much-loved aesthetic, with a palette of white, gold and burgundy and refined finishing touches.

Tosin Phillips (brand fashion manager for The Okunoren Twins) said in a statement, “The designers with inspiration from Ile-Ife, London and Prato conceived the store and the result is a comfortable marriage of modernism and classicism. The opening of this flagship [store] is a milestone in the expansion plan of the Okunoren brand and will herald the arrival of fashion retail in Nigeria,” also revealing that there are plans to open 5 more stores across Nigeria by 2015.

Inside, the Twins will provide customers with a private tailoring service, personal shopping and shoe-shining, plus there’s the lure of free Wi-Fi – so if you’ve not yet visited this new spot in menswear, you might want to make your way down to 20b, Mainland Way, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, where it’s at.
