Our sister station, Soundcity threw the best of bashes last Friday (December 18th), with its annual Urban Blast Festival seeing 2015 off in style.
The event, which trended online in Nigeria until the early hours of Saturday, was the biggest live TV concert with its eclectic mix of African acts including artists and Djs from Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania (Davido, Phyno, Victoria Kimani, Dj Spinall, Stanley Enow, Linah, Runtown and more having performed), treating attendees to high octane energy for four straight hours!
SPICE TV’s Elma Godwin, talking to guests on the red carpet
And, while Team SPICE were on ground to enjoy ourselves, we were also there to catch all the cool wardrobe action via our Red Carpet Show host Elma Godwin, who sought out the finest of fashion from the event.
Just take a look at some of the attendees here below and tell us if you think they came out looking as fly as we think – then of course catch the Red Carpet show tomorrow at ?? for their full wardrobe explanations.
Low key swag was definitely a look for the guys, with these two nailing it in plaid, monochrome, ripped denim and kicks
These ladies came to slay as a quartet – each one rocking heels despite the dancing they were sure to do
We loved this cutesy pastel look, made fierce with strappy, studded heels, a red lip and thick bangs
And who could ignore this bright number, worn with the season’s ‘It’ boot?
Keeping things fun, some guests went for bright hues with Summery vibes
Others went for monochrome, or prints on prints – this stylish star doing both

All black everything never fails, and this beauty proves the fact
Then again, all white everything is another fool-proof way to score style points, as this look proved by VJ Pearl
Of course, sometimes it’s accessories that make a look. In this case, a metallic hover board had heads turning…
Matching accessories is always a good look too – with this star matching their tech to their chains!

Laid back denim came piling on to the red carpet, paired with sparkling accessories to liven it up
In other cases, we spied denim doing all the talking and matched with blue accessories, like with this stunner’s ensemble
We couldn’t get enough of this printed top and masculine brogues combo.
But nothing says masculine more than a strong colour palette – Skuki going for black, white and red, and complimenting each other’s look
And take a look at Bracket, also doing the near twin thing in matching black, shades, denim jeans and high tops
Squad goals from Mr 2kay, Runtown and Bracket
…And here above? Just wardrobe goals. How slick is this sporty monochrome ensemble?
