The Stylish Star Couples Giving Us Pure Relationship Goals

The only thing better than looking at a well-dressed person, is looking at two well-dressed people; couples who complement each other perfectly, but especially in style.

While some spouses will spend almost all of their relationship trying to brush up their partner’s sense of fashion, there are some who do not need to worry (or at least, who’ve a family stylist they can call on), with their partner pulling their weight in the wardrobe department.

Team SPICE are obsessed with such sartorial power duos, and have a few fashion couples on our radar, giving us total relationship goals.

See them here below in our list of those who are not only in love but have a wardrobe after our own hearts, too.

1. Beyonce & Jay-Z

Because obviously, Jay and Bey would be on this list, the power couple being both music and style royalty and not just ruling the stage, but red carpets too.

The icons never fail to command attention when they step out, Jay Z doing the sensible thing mostly, and letting his goddess shine.

But together – with Beyonce’s amazing concert costumes and Jay Z’s street-fused style – they make waves, leaving no wonder as to why Bey’s been tapped to collaborate with Topshop on a line that’ll drop later this year, and Jay having collaborated with Barneys already.

These guys take relationship goals to an extreme that us mere mortals can only hope to achieve in our dreams.

2. Tiwa Savage & Tee Billz

These two certainly know what it takes to be dubbed stylish, and they are not only drop dead gorgeous, but also super cool.

With her lithe and petite frame, Tiwa’s sexy vibes work perfectly in contrast with Tee Billz’s ‘rough and ready’, rugged look – and we adore the street style ensembles they serve up as much as we do those sophisticated ones they pull off for events.

In perfect tandem, Tee Billz’s style is classic hip hop, while Tiwa keeps us on our toes with her ever-evolving look, meaning we’re always interested to spy them out and about, whether they are hitting a red-carpet event or simply heading to church.

3. Kim & Kanye

Another power paring, Kim and Kanye West certainly know how to make the world revolve around them, and we cannot hate them for doing so when they serve up so much style.

The megstars of the planet have access to all the best designers, and their wardrobe as a result is to die for – Kanye even turning his hand to style his bae, famously re-inventing her look, and becoming a fashion designer in his own right.

While their sartorial choices can be a little over-the-top, Kim’s classic, sexy style usually offsets Kanye’s more eclectic choices, but their special talent lies in those matchy-matchy his’n’hers looks you often find them garbed in.

4. Gbenrosas

Osas Ighodaro and Gbenro Ajibade (a.k.a Gberosas) are one of the coolest couples in the Nollywood industry – and while we always look out for this stylish couple on the red carpet, we are never disappointed.

The two who are hopelessly enamored with each other, extend their romance to their wardrobes and can pull off almost any sort of look – Osas being a stylista with a sexy, vintage edge, and her husband giving as good with his fashion-forward sense in menswear.

We totally admire the fact that they can match without going over the top; it’s always cool and never ever cringey.

5. Victoria & David Beckham

Without a doubt, Victoria and David Beckham are the king and queen of British fashion. There are no words for how utterly suave these two are, and whether they’re stepping out together or seen separately, they slay.

From their coordinating looks for formal events, to Victoria’s successful eponymous label and David’s side job as a male underwear model, they are dominating and providing pure style relationship goals as they go.

We at SPICE are obsessed and they can do no fashion wrong in our eyes.

6. Joseph & Adaeze Yobo

Sigh. Another two that are a match made in style heaven.

The former beauty queen and her footballer hubby are surely the picture of edgy elegance – the parents of three clearly knowing how to dress like grownups yet have fun with their fashion.

It is hard to deny the sartorial appeal of Joseph and Adaeze, who rarely hit style’s party circuit without one another, and who always look just flawless on each other’s arm.

On the street however, the duo’s style is subtle and laid back, but they still find a way to co-ordinate their looks and play with colours, and inspire us as they do so.

7. Toolz & Tunde Demuren

Popular radio presenter Toolz and her husband Tunde Demuren, who just recently tied the knot, are one of the poshest duos around town (or so says their wardrobe) and are also one of the most effortlessly cute couples we’ve ever seen.

Tunde’s dandy wardrobe and Toolz’ classic style make them look like they’ve jumped right out of a fashion editorial in a glossy mag, but alas no – they’re a real life couple who just know how to dress better than we do.

8. Chrissy Teigen & John Legend

Just wow is this couple’s love really growing on us…

Model Chrissy Teigen and singer John Legend are pretty much Hollywood’s king and queen of PDA, with the duo regularly seen at all the best events and having the sort of couple fun we can totally relate to.

From their famed 2015 Grammy night, where they got locked out of their room after an evening of drinks, to their red carpet ‘nuzzle fest’ at this year’s event, the expecting couple are almost too perfect in terms of relationship goals.

And let’s not forget how gorgeous the couple is, with their good looks and great wardrobe.

When you look up the word “beautiful” in the dictionary, you should probably find a picture of music idol 2face and Annie idibia. And their wardrobe? It’d be listed under the word “unstoppable”.

Not only is Annie’s dress sense seamless, but 2face’s looks are always super swanky too, leaving this power couple the best-dressed at most of the big events they attend.

These two have been together for years now and we at SPICE are still keeping tabs on their collaborative style.

While they do not have a lot of the typical ‘effortless couple’ photos circulating on social media, their laid-back-yet-fun style is certainly something to keep up with.

The pair are basically pros at coordinating their outfits and are never not looking like the most in-sync duo as they hit the town for Stepahnie’s movie premieres.

Mr and Mr Idahosa certainly know how to make a stylish statement together and we’ve enjoyed every single one they’ve made.

11. Olumide & Dakore Akande

Olumide and Dakore Akande are yet another couple who had to be on our list – certainly not because they are loud with their style, but because they are slowing making their mark as one of the most stylish couples in Nigeria.

Their wardrobe is super classic (especially Olumide’s obsession with the sash), yet they also rock unique pieces that make them stand out from the crowd.

While they are not overly intimate in their photos (no kissy faces and clamouring into each other’s arms for the paps), the coordination of their attire reveals a deep level of affection and attention for each other – and though Dakore may be credited with Olumide’s stylish looks, there is no doubt the sartorial stars have risen together.
