We all know that most fun events for Lagos’ youth Pop-Off on the Island; from intimate performances at Bogobiri, to big concerts at Eko Hotel, most of the fun is had on the other side of Third Mainland Bridge.
Well, not anymore! Falz’s team are putting the mainland back on the rocks agenda, with his Mainland Block Party. Hosting at Burg.co, Ikeja, on Thursday night, the mainland block party hosted musicians, models, comedians an influencers; from Joules Da Kid to Aduke Bey, the youth fully showed out to this proposed revitalisation of the mainland.
The evening was a resounding success, topped off by a special performance of Make E No Cause Fight – a new EP by #Bojebutter! So we can’t wait till the last Sunday in June, to get back to the mainland for more authentic vitalising fun – if you missed this one, go ahead an set a reminder now, you don’t wanna miss out again!
