When you’re as big a star and as beautiful as Rihanna, you don’t just team up with rapper Drake, make a song we love and then slay it with the video.
No, when you’re as bomb as Rih is, you make two videos and have them playing back-to-back, like a perfect one-two-knock out.
And when you’re as big a fan of the singer as we are here at SPICE, you make a list of the things you love about said videos. Hence you’ll find us fan-girling over them below.
1. The Fact There Be 2 Videos
So Robyn Rihanna Fenty dropped two new videos for her duet with Canadian rapper Drake, running us down first with a steamy club set version, before backing it up and finishing us off with a softer, simpler sofa-set version, which played at the end of the first video.
And while we were more than satisfied with the first offering – its lively, hip-wriggling party vibes and all the colourful fashion, plus the moments we got to see Rih poppin’ it in front of a mirror – we definitely needed the second take, too. It’s like Rihanna read our minds, and knew we’d be thirsty for more…
In her pink-themed video, she dances for Drake, nipples out (of course), looking super cool and femme, and all sorts of things we’re not.
And we just can not decide which video we love the most.

2. Rih’s Free Nipples
So getting her ta-tas out is nothing new for Rihanna, but we were somehow surprised to see them make a glittering appearance in the second video like, we’d have survived without seeing them again, but hey. We’ll take her up on the chance to examine them, anytime.

Going all #FreeTheNipple on us, Rih’s seen in a sheer, glitter knit top that reminds us of her 2014 CFDA Awards gown that got everyone all hot and bothered, but without also showing her bum, she keeps it casual in a denim skirt which winds happily with her in front of a very happy Drake who gets the back view.
Got to love a girl who can confidently make a statement with her style and her body.

3. Those Neckpieces, Please
Like, we need all the jewels. Right away. Thank you.
First up, it was a cool, thickly-strapped design with a metal loop, which the Barbadian displayed in her first video – best emulated via this piece for £10, here.

We’ll be trying this look (try these gold plated ones, £11.50 in the sale) next time we’re out or having Drake over for Wind It Up and Chill.

4. That Netted Dress Though
Now, many of us will note these string vest dresses and tops are not expensive – like, have you been to Notting Hill Carnival in London? To a West Indian market anywhere, ever? You’ll find those things for £3.
Something tells us this might suddenly be difficult to do, with Rihanna repping her culture in a cool thigh-split version by Tommy Hilfiger in red, yellow, black and green, and no doubt sending vendors into a newly lucrative business.
For now, there’s a ‘buy 3 get 1 free’ bundle on Ebay, here.

5. The Strapped Shoe
We mean, whoa. This was already such a trend, but now we see this gold strappy pair of shoes, wrapped around the ankle we want to be wrapped around? Yes, we not only want to be the shoe, but own a pair just like it.
Super-flattering and a sure way to dress up even the most casual outfit, we say adding a pair to your Spring/Summer ensembles is pretty urgent… especially if you’re really going to step out in one of those netted dresses from the market.
Try these for £25 here.

6. The Mani-Pedi
Who’s going to want to admire those heels though, if your toes aren’t as well prepped as Rih’s?
Girl, book yourself in for a pedicure asap, and why not try the white polish our bae rocked in her first video for “Work” too?
While you’re at it, check her talons because her finger nails are also worth emulating.
Before we hit up our fave salon, we’ll be stealing the look with gold glitter tips, courtesy of Wet’n’Wild (N600 here).

7. That Cow Hide-Shaped Skirt
Rocking denim like she slayed a cow to get it, Rih’s styling team hunted down some alternatively-shaped skirt that we now know we need.
Flattering to the thigh, we like its curved hemline and the way it goes high at the leg.
Find one (like this version, £15) and it’ll be a heavy hitter when you’re out “Work”ing it to this tune.

8. The Matchy-Matchy Makeup
A huge trend for this season, matching your eye and lip colour is the way to do makeup now, and Rihanna proves it makes sense in her second video for “Work.”
Seen doing a pink (or is it a lilac?) on her eye lids and lips, the singer is perfection personified.
We’ll be doing this using CoverGirl’s “Eye Shadow Blast” (N1,500 here) and NYX’s “Sparkling Rose” lipstick (N2,000 here).

9. The Dark Green Lip
It’s definitely not going anywhere, this whole dark lipstick thing, and Rihanna has us ready to try ours for Spring/Summer’16 too.
Seen at her Fenty x Puma showcase during New York Fashion Week, the dark lip look was given a whirl infront of the finest in fashion, and we gave the same sort of salute they did when we caught it tinged in green for the first video Rih revealed.

10. That Leg Harness
Adding the final touch of SPICE to her first video ensemble, beneath the netted gown she wore, we spied a cool leg harness that we immediately want to rock, too.
Granted, our thighs may not be as toned as Rih’s, but we’re confident that in emulating the video and twerking in front of a mirror while jamming to the track, we’ll be giving our legs a bit of a “Work”out.
Summer, here we come – first stop though, is over here for this sexy leg piece (£12).
