The Nigerian Fashion Industry has evolved for the past decade, its designers and creatives are matching up to the world talent and being recognized for doing so. With the likes of Orange Culture, Deola Sagoe, Gozl Green, Laduni Lambo and so much more flying our flag internationally, this is definitely ba proud moment for us all.
We are throwing it back to that time Solange partook in the Nigerian glory, when she rocked a dope outfit made by Mowalola. Solange is one heck of a person and she knows excatly what she wnats, she sings the way she wants, she acts the way she wants, and she definitely dresses up the way she wants, her style is definitely normcore, so for this Dazed Magazine cover last month, we are not even moved by her choice of outfit, it’s Solange, and she gets what she wants(we think it’s a family gene, because Beyonce does the same dim thing!)
Mowalola is definitely making a name for herself in the fashion industry globally with her quirky kind of mens wear, she has been featured on Vogue, i-D and more, her works are phenomenal and she is definitely getting the accolades that she deserves. Take a look at that time she made us proud.
