And as always, the trendiest of celebrities have also embraced the look with gusto;

Get the Look: Thakoon’s High Shine Brows
A bit more sheen to your arches will help ‘frame’ the face and give your look that extra je ne sais quoi. Makeup artist for Nars, Diane Kendal gave models a fresh, sexy vibe at Thakoon’s show by creating a glossy brow and you will definitely rejeuvenate your party look, with these easy-to-acheive steps…
1. After you’ve completed your complexion (we’d suggest a minimal makeup look, as described here), brush all eye brow hair upward with an eyebrow grooming brush or a dry toothbrush.
2. Use tiny scissors to trim any hair tips that are sticking out, away or out of shape from the rest of your brows.
3. Apply clear Nars TripleX lip gloss (£19, here) and Oural Brow Gel (£16.50, here) to make brows appear shiny. Be sure not to coat too thickly for a stuck on look, and instead go for light wafts of the brush.
Et voila – a sheened brow that’ll stay all day! Let us know what you think of ‘high shine’ trend (would you dare it or have you already?), leaving your comments in the box below or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram @SPICETVAFRICA – we want to know everything!
