After sharing some of her thoughts on beauty with us (see our interview, here), makeup artist and cosmetologist Heidi is spilling on some of her all-time favourite products with us too. See them, below;
1. Kevyn Aucoin’s bronzing veil, $37
This goes on my skin really smooth and has that perfect blend of ‘lightly tanned’ and ‘glow-y’ that is quite unexplainable…
2. Embryolisse’s Lait-Creme Concentre, $33.99
So this moisturiser needs no introduction, right? It is beautiful, and one of the best things about it is how it is beautifully absorbed into the skin, leaving it weightless.
3. Eucerin
As a cosmetologist and skin care expert, you bet that I love reliable skincare. Eucerin is over a 100 years old and is one of the most trust-worthy skincare brands around, and is known for radiant and healthy skin. I highly recommend you try it.
4. MUFE’s coloured mascara, $32.95
When I say this mascara gives a combination of length and volume with ease, you had better believe me. This also enables me skip wearing falsies too.
5. Inglot’s eye shadows, $7
These are an absolute beauty to apply and the freedom system is such a delight. Makes shopping for eyeshadows a breeze.
When they said their foundations were formulated for dark skin, they meant it. I wouldn’t use it on really warm days, though as it is oil-based and for that, a heavy duty mattifier will be needed.
These are sincerely the best in the world. The first time I visited their site I was pleasantly surprised to see that the mascara products are divided by benefit, nice.
I love how lightweight and glossy these are. A definite must-have.
9. Urban Decay’s Glide-On eye pencils, $20 each
Best pencils for the waterline, ever. If you haven’t tried these please make sure you get at least one of them.
10. La Femme’s blush palette, $49.99
No kidding when I say these last all day. Definitely a must-have for your beauty bag.
