We did warn you that nude would be the trend to try this season, and lucky for you, we’ve filtered through the best lipsticks to look out for.
See them in our Tuesday 10, below;
If you want a little luxury, some sheer colour and a nice nude shade in one go, this is the lipstick to go for. It’s a lovely pink-nude we at SPICE just love, but note the colour is not for everyone.
2. Tom Ford’s Lip Colour in “Blush Nude“, $69.91
If you want to avoid looking like the Queen of the Damned (like you’re undead), then this is the product to reach for. Definitely more of a luxury purchase, the sheer delight of whipping this lippie out of your purse is well worth the splurge.
3. Wet ‘N’ Wild’s Lipstick in “Bare It All“, $3.03
We don’t have to spend a lot to get a super sleek nude lip, so try this inexpensive option from Wet’N’Wild. It is advisable to apply on well moisturised lips as it can be a little drying, but its super opaque, matte nude colour is just to die for.
Well pigmented, long wearing and dressed in utterly chic packaging, this nude lipstick just screams “pick me up”. #Perfect
This product is an appealing combination of sheer, nude and moisturising, leaving lips with a glossy finish that is sure to get you noticed.
Love looking polished during the day? Then this lipstick is a definite must-have. Baring an even application and being suitable for a wide variety of complexions, this lipstick is known to deliver perfect ‘shine and moisture’.
7. NARS’ Sheer Lipstick in “Cruising“, $26
Who wouldn’t like to look the best possible version of themselves? Well, while it may not always be achievable, we can at least provide the best version of our lips, by opting for this nude lipstick by NARS. Very sheer and feeling like nothing has been applied, this lipstick provides a hint of colour with a hint of shimmer, too.
8. MUD Rose Clay Lipstick, $15
When worn with a light brown liner, this can very well become the perfect nude. It’s best for those whose complexions have warm undertones, though.
9. MAC’s Satin Lipstick in “Myth“, $15.20
This lipstick looks best worn with cool or neutral makeup because of it’s peachy-pink undertone. With its high pigmented colour and semi-matte, satin finish, if you want staple nude, this is it.
10. Christian Dior’s Rouge Lipstick in “Beige Angelique“, £25.00
The hardest nude lipstick to find (to the point it may have been discontinued by the brand), Dior’s “Beige Angelique” lip colour has been described by beauty lovers as ‘amazing.‘ If you find it, we’re definitely stealing it form you.
