Last night, the 2015 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards took place in New York, promising to change the course of one lucky designer’s career with a top monetary prize (which actually became three lucky designers as a surprise twist), with the industry’s finest stepping out to the gala event.
From models Imaan Hammam and Aamito Stacey, to young starlets like Zendaya Coleman making sure to be seen, there was a lot of style served up.
Have a look below and see if you agree that these were the best-dressed women at the event.
Aamito Lagum
Ugandan model turned superstar and face of Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer’16 campaign, Aamito Lagum has been busy rubbing shoulders with fashion’s finest – in this picture, she’s seen rubbing them with Donal Glover. But most significantly is how well styled she appears, rocking this sleek maxi gown for elegant effect. We are love with it and all Ms Lagum has gone on to do with her career of late.

Herieth Paul
Another model beauty, Herieth Paul was seen looking radiant, wearing a mis-matched suit ensemble from 3.1 Philip Lim. We love the golden trousers and the clean makeup look that complimented the outfit.
–
Chanel Iman
Supermodel Chanel Iman stole our hearts with her style, wearing a cool printed look by Fausto Puglisi, made up of a daring droptop, pencil skirt and bomber jacket.
–
Aya Jones
Model and new ‘It-girl’ Aya Jones hit the red carpet at the event alongside model colleague Alana Zimmer and designer finalist Chris Gelinas of CG, with Ms Jones rocking his label. We are totally into the way the look was accessoried simply with minimal heels, a little makeup and swept back hair, leaving how Aya’s pretty face as the standout feature of the look.
–
Imaan Hammam
Top model Imaan Hammam is another familiar face (though hers is surrounded by her famous mane of hair) who looked breath-taking at the event. The Baja East gown she wore was compliments by Monique Paen jewels, an Edie Parker bag and Paul Andrew heels, with Team SPICE wishing we could take just one item from the look home to keep. Gorgeous!
–
Mariah Borges
Model cutie Mariah Borges was also caught at the event in a bright white gown by Prabal Gurung. We love how the dress matched her smile and that fierce arm cuff, too.
–
Zendaya Coleman
Teen star, Zendaya has been slaying for a long time now and this latest entry in her style files is proof she won’t let up anytime soon. We love the Thakoon dress she’s wearing and adore the Borther Vellies heels she’s paired it with

Aurora James
Pictured here with Zendaya, Brother Vellies designer Aurora James in one stylish individual, rocking her own footwear with a Gucci dress we can’t get enough of. And it was clearly her night, because Ms James went on to win the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, too.
Blogger and DJ TK Wonder has been on fashion’s radar for a minute, with her unforgettable Afrocentric style and all that natural hair. But matching her Gucci dress so perfectly to her strappy heels? Well, she deserves some sort of medal, non?

Cipriana Quann
And how can we forget TK’s twin, Cipriana Quann who is equally as stylish as her sister? Also rocking Ohne Titel, the blogger bae looks amazing in her dress. Oh and that matching shoe skill? She inherited that too, evidently…
