Something to watch out for come March is Riccardo Tisci’s debut “R.T Collection” for Nike, unveiled via Instagram and including four new Air Force 1s, reimagined under Tisci’s talent.
The current creative director at Givenchy has risen the Nike classics to new levels – that’s mid-calf and knee high – telling Vogue:
“I travel all over the world, and I see people wearing the Air Force 1, and they wear it in so many different ways. And so I was thinking, what is the essence of the Air Force 1? And how do I take that essence and make my own statement?”
Apparently, his statement is pretty black and white, with the collection launching March 1st in white, then in black by April 1st.
With this being the first time Tisci’s collaborated with a highstreet brand, you’d do well to pick a pair in either shade, pull them on and show off (or display them stylishly from a shelf somewhere in full view – your choice).
