Have you seen rising label, Sevon Dejana’s Spring/Summer’16 collection? It’s one you don’t want to miss – all fresh, pretty and a continuation of the brand’s debut collection, “De Dix-Sept” – and we have the exclusive behind-the-scenes action from its lookbook.
The new range of the same name picks up where the last left off, but is once again fronted by the beautiful Cynthia Abdulahi (this time joined by model colleague, Olamide) and lensed by photographer Timmy Davies, with designer Mr Dejana telling us it’s about;
“Women. It represents strong women.
The inspiration behind the collection basically comes from many years ago… …There was a time when men [got] married to 17 women [and] women didn’t have a choice but to get married to these men, just for them to survive.
If you go through the history of women, a lot of things have happened… The inspiration is from all those women who’ve fought and influenced history, and got women to where they are today.”
