Skilled photographer, curator, cartoonist and vlogger Yagazie Emezi first hit radars when she began documenting her experiences in returning to Nigeria from The States – and with the effortless beauty making waves everywhere with her talents, we had to ask she share her Lagos Fashion & Design Week diary with us. A quick glance over Ms Emezi’s various platforms (of course you follow her Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr, and subscribe to her Youtube channel, but did you know she is compiling brilliant photography from across Africa and the diaspora here?) will tell you she is as cool as she is creative and as as witty as we all wish we were. Read: she meets all sorts of criteria for bae-hood.
But it was her great sense of personal style and mega talent in photography that ultimately made Yagazie the perfect candidate to show us Fashion Week from the inside – so you can imagine the round of high fives we shared when she agreed to send us her snaps!

Last day of LFDW! I still kept things super casual and loose.

Backstage line-up
I didn’t make it to any after parties because I was so tuckered out from running around, but LFDW was a success and I feel refreshed to have gotten so much beauty in just a couple of days. This wedding dress was gorgeous – mainly because I’m all about some cleavage!

Day 3
Started Day 3 off again in Orange Culture. It is menswear so it was sliding my butt off a bit, but I love loose fits!
I focused on details today!
All eyes were on the pup!

Sported full on Orange Culture today! Menswear, yes. Me wear? Very.
Everyone came to LFDW fully dressed up. Temi came with her bird!
